The Lynn School Committee Information

The Lynn School Committee is made up of dedicated and experienced citizens of Lynn who are committed to work to maintain and improve the City of Lynn Public School System.

The Lynn Public School System is committed to providing all of our students in all our schools an equitable opportunity for optimal achievement in all academic areas.

Regularly scheduled meetings of the Lynn School Committee are held on the second and last Thursday of the month at 7 PM at the Tiger’s Den (first floor of the LVTI Annex), 90 Commercial Street, Lynn.

As a parent, you have the most powerful voice in the education of your child. The Home and School Partnership

Parent Advisory Council is challenging all families, schools, and community groups to work together to support learning. Regardless of family income or background, students with involved parents are more likely to:

-Earn higher grades and test scores, and enroll in higher-level programs
-Be promoted, pass their classes, and earn credits
-Attend school regularly
-Have better social skills, show improved behavior, and adapt well to school
-Graduate and go on to post secondary education

The Home and School Partnership Parent Advisory Council cordially invites all interested parents to attend our monthly meetings. The Meeting location is Lynn Technical Institute Annex Building/School Administration Building at 90 Commercial St. in the second floor Staff Development Room from 6:30PM-8:00PM.
