City of Lynn 2018 Supervised Parks and Field Trips
Parks Open Wednesday, July 9, 2018 and Close Friday, August 10th
The parks listed below on this page will be supervised from July 9th through August 10th. Monday through Thursday 9 AM - 3 PM and Friday’s 9 AM - 2:30PM
The City of Lynn will provide Park Instructors to the parks listed below. The instructors will provide the following activities during our 5 Week Program: Field Trips, Special Events, Wiffleball Games, Arts & Crafts, Sports Activities, Entertainment, and Fun for all ages. Lunch will be provided during park hours. The Parks Program is available for children 6 years or older. No child is required to remain at the park.
We do not provide INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISION or DAYCARE.
On Rainy Days the Parks will be closed!
CLARK ST. PLAYGROUND | End of Clark Street (OFF EASTERN AVE.)
FLAX POND PLAYGROUND | Chestnut Street (BETWEEN POND & CARTER RD.)
GALLAGHER PLAYGROUND | Ontario - Linwood - Hurd Streets
GOWDY PARK | Ceadarbrook Road (BETWEEN TUSAN RD. & MAPLEVALLEY)
HOOD PARK | Holyoke Street (Next to Classical High School)
KEANEY PARK | Memorial Park Ave. (BEHIND ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL)
KILEY PLAYGROUND | At the end of Sanderson Ave. (OFF OF CHATHAM ST.)
LYNNWOODS PLAYGROUND | End of Great Falls Road (OFF LYNNFIELD ST.)
MAGNOLIA PARK | Magnolia Ave. BEHIND SISSON & PICKERING)
MARIAN GARDENS PARK | Anderson Way (IN MARIAN GARDENS COMMUNITY)
Lunch will be provided during park hours.
All programs are available - pending funding.

Will Be Held At Gallagher Park In Case Of Rain
All Field Trip costs include admission and transportation to and from the events. The Lynn Parks & Recreation can only accept Money Orders or Cash. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. Please download and fill out the forms below to register for any Field Trip.
Please note: You must fill out the registration forms for your child to be able to attend any of the Field Trips.
Arts and Crafts Scheduled For 2018
7. COLORING CONTEST - THURSDAY, AUGUST 2
A coloring contest will be held at every park using markers and construction paper, the person with the best picture will win a small prize (according to the counselors)
8. BUTTERFLY CLIP - TUESDAY, AUGUST 7
Use clothespins, pipe cleaners, and wiggly eyes to create a fancy snack bag clip
